Lo-D

Lo-D - brand was created in 1969 to identify Hitachi's high-end audio equipment for the domestic market. Amplifiers, receivers, cassette recorders, turntables, musical instruments, and other audio equipment, as well as cassette tapes and electronic components, were produced under the Lo-D brand. Lo-D equipment was distinguished by high build quality, advanced technology, and excellent sound. In the 1980s, Lo-D became one of the most popular brands in Japan. The equipment was also exported to other countries, including the United States and Europe. However, in the 1990s, its popularity began to decline, and Lo-D was discontinued in 2004.
