Track - TRACK TAPE AB is a Swedish company from Malmö that specialized in producing audio cassettes and existed for only four years – from 1981 to 1985. The unusual design of the cassette with a large inscription "TRACK", in which the letter "A" served as a window, was developed by designer Anders Weste. Soon after the launch of production, a problem with the quality of the tapes was discovered (the first samples sounded rather muffled), but the problem was solved. The design and packaging were created in 1981 and at the same time (?) 3 types were produced - black plastic with a colored inscription, transparent packaging with a smooth case and transparent packaging with the TRACK stamp on the back of the case.
