ZZZ - an abbreviation signifying *Zhengzhou Zao* ("Made in Zhengzhou"—referring to the city of Zhengzhou) and the word *Zao* (meaning "made"). Founded in 1966, the magnetic tape factory is one of China's oldest specialized chemical enterprises dedicated to the production of magnetic recording materials. In 1987, the company entered the international market, exporting products to the Soviet Union, the United States, Hong Kong, and Macau. At the end of 1988, the factory was reorganized into Zhongzhou Sanzhi Tape Group Inc.
