Diamant (ABM) - the ABM department store chain ("Au Bon Marché", French for "at the best price") was founded in 1956 in Switzerland by the Globus Group and primarily sold clothing and home goods. At its peak, the company had 60 branches. From 1976 to 1996, ABM also operated department stores in Austria. From 2000 to 2001, ABM stores were converted into branches in Oviesse, where Globus operated a franchise. In 2004, Globus announced its exit from the Oviesse chain. The remaining stores became the property of the C&A Group.
