Horten - Horten AG was a German department store group founded by Helmut Horten in 1936 and headquartered in Düsseldorf. After Kaufhof, Hertie, and Karstadt, it was the fourth-largest department store chain in Germany. Horten was acquired by Kaufhof in 1994 and gradually integrated until the Horten brand disappeared in the early 2000s.
