RAKS

RAKS - Turkish company RAKS Elektronik was founded in 1964. The largest specialized enterprise in Turkey for the production of mobile phones, CD-ROMs, DVDs, DVDs, audio cassettes, video cassettes, batteries for mobile phones and digital audio cassettes. In 1995, the company's plant in Manisa exported products to 55 countries. The company also produced magnetic media for Eastman Kodak in the United States and for international companies Aiwa and JVC. After many years of cooperation with BASF, in 1996 RAKS signed an offer to create BASF Magnetic Media Products, but the deal was concluded due to protests by BASF trade unions in Germany. The company went bankrupt in 2007, after a protracted crisis.
