Grundig - Grundig was a German consumer electronics company founded in 1945. From 1993 to 1998, it was controlled by Philips. After several years of losses and increasing competition, it filed for bankruptcy in 2003. The Grundig brand is currently owned by the Turkish company Arçelik A.Ş.
