MCW - launched in 1990, this brand belongs to the Russian coke and chemical industry company Moscow Coke and Gas Plant (Moskoks), located in the Moscow region. Construction of the plant began in 1938 and it opened in 1951. After the collapse of the USSR, the company began producing consumer goods. Japanese equipment, technologies, and components were used to produce MCW-branded video and audio cassettes.
