Blaupunkt - Blaupunkt GmbH is a German brand, previously a manufacturer, primarily producing car audio and other electronic equipment. Founded in 1924 in Berlin under the name "Ideal," the company was acquired by Robert Bosch GmbH in 1933, changed its name to "Blaupunkt" in 1938, and was sold to the German company Aurelius AG in 2009. In late 2015, the company filed for bankruptcy, and the liquidation process was completed in early 2016.
